Man’s Love for and of GOD

It is true, also our New Testament has the high virtue of fear of
GOD, but because of the teaching of CHRIST we see it in a different
           light. GOD taught me thus:

Fear of GOD means: I fear offending Him whom I love!

How does GOD expect my love to be? Answer: to begin with exactly
as people love each other sincerely! So not only in keeping the
Commandments or prescriptions, since these, as pointed out, can
also be kept without heart and mind. The Main Commandment,
however, demands: with all your heart – all your mind. If GOD
Himself loves us with all His heart, then we must love Him with our
whole heart too. Let us not forget that JESUS CHRIST does not love
us, men, with a spiritual heart but as we do with a heart of flesh and
blood, with a human heart! He did become GOD-MAN after all!
Who dare be so unyielding and answer this courting of His only with
a rigid observance of His Commandments?

We must not forget: no matter how much progress we make on the
way to perfect love, we will always only have love. GOD, however,
cannot be said to have a lot of love for us, because GOD has not
love, as He has or gets that love from nowhere, but He Himself is
the source and origin, the very power of love! And He wants us,
men, to be able to have it at our disposal. This mighty spring from
which we can best draw, then, is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It is
the inexhaustible fountain of GOD’s love!

GOD has revealed to us through JESUS CHRIST His absolute love,
the love that the FATHER, the SON, the HOLY SPIRIT bears for us.
He revealed this indeed through the Atonement of JESUS CHRIST
on the Cross – for all men if they do their best!

Oh, what a spectacle for the GOD, who loves us so much, if a weak
little human being with his free will becomes enraptured with Him in
consuming love. Because for a person to be able to love GOD, he
must receive it from GOD. Man himself is incapable of giving GOD
anything at all that did not come from the Maker. GOD alone can
           create out of nothing!
