Sword-Bishop – His Personal Development

          • His wife gave her written consent to his ordination to the priesthood,
together with all the consequences implied, especially total marital
            abstinence.

On this point, he follows in the footsteps of numerous priests and
bishops of antiquity, starting even with the majority of the Apostles (who
          were married and had families).

Is GOD then really obliged to abide by an agreement with a hierarchi-
cal Church which is declining more and more and which exercises a
false authority? If he had been received by Rome, which has the duty to
accept even the worst sinner, and if his situation had been canonically
settled in Rome, one is indeed tempted to ask whether things would be
any better for him in view of the difficult situation of today’s Church.
When Mgr Franck, the ordaining bishop of Bishop Nikolaus, requested
admission into the Catholic Church in Rome, to be precise after his
complete conversion and abandonment of all his former positions in
the schismatic Church, he was answered as follows: „We already have
one Mgr Lefèbvre, we do not want a second one.“

For Mgr Franck had declared to the Roman authorities: „I accept in ad-
vance all the conditions you lay down for me, with the exception of this
one, that I will not at any price give up the Tridentine Mass.“ Bishop
Nikolaus found himself in the same situation, in that he appealed to
Rome three times to have his situation normalised. He was not even
          given a hearing.
If we look at the matter closely, the Schneider case is not much different
in substance from that of Mgr Lefèbvre. One of the bishops, Mgr
Lefèbvre, received his office lawfully, through the will of man,
authorised by GOD; the other outside the scope of lawful conferral by
the will of GOD and the consent of men. We say outside the existing
law and not unlawfully, because his ordaining bishop, Mgr Franck, had
previously done everything to be within the law.
We take the view that, if Bishop Nikolaus comes from GOD, GOD will
also confirm him. Perhaps this may happen precisely through the Word
of GOD coming out of his mouth. He is, after all, His Instrument; per-
