Various Confirmations and Testimonies

„The nations will know that I am the Lord.“ (Ezek. 36,23) „My judgement
will be the light of the nations. My righteousness speedily draws near ...
My arm will judge the people.“ (Is. 51,4-5)
Why should GOD not be allowed to use an instrument in this interven-
tion of His? Bishop Nikolaus is not the first to be called by GOD to this
task. If GOD uses him, it is probably because many have failed and He
had to do without them. Bishop Nikolaus seems so far to have re-
mained faithful to his calling. GOD wants him to be the chosen one.
The urgently needed renewal of the Church demands that the Instru-
ment of GOD destined for this task should be Prophet, Bishop and
Apostle. These qualities apply to Bishop Nikolaus.

If he comes from GOD, then GOD will and must also confirm him.

Everybody, therefore, is warned against criticising thoughtlessly so that
GOD’s punishment may not strike them. „Do not judge that you may
not be judged.“ Gamaliel’s advice also applies to the case of Bishop
Nikolaus: „If this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing on
its own. But if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it; or else you may be
found fighting against God Himself.“ (Acts 5,38-39)

Two weighty objections now arise which seem to speak against Bishop
Nikolaus, objections that are likely to keep people away from him:
          • His ordination as priest and bishop did not take place according to
canon law and comes from a schismatic line.
          • Bishop Nikolaus is married and the father of four children.

These objections are to be answered as follows:
          • His ordaining bishop and even more so he himself have undertaken
all the steps to make peace with Rome. The unsettled situation is,
therefore, not to be attributed to them, but rather to Rome, which,
whether justified or not, did not give the petitioners a hearing.
