Main Commandement

Words of Encouragement of JESUS to you
(Given to a privileged soul)

Love Me as you are!

I know your misery, the struggles, the sufferings of your soul, the
weaknesses of your body. I also know about your cowardice, your
sins and yet I say to you:

Give Me your heart, love Me as you are!

If you are waiting until you are an angel in order to surrender your-
self to love, you will never love Me. Even if you are cowardly in the
discharge of your duties and in the practice of virtues, even if you of-
ten slip back into those sins which you do not wish to commit any
more, I will not allow you not to love Me!

Love Me as you are!
At every moment and in whatever situation you are, in zeal or in
dryness, in faithfulness or unfaithfulness, love Me as you are! –I
want the love of your poor heart. For if you are waiting until you are
perfect, you will never love Me!

Might I not perhaps be able to make out of a tiny grain of sand a
Seraph, radiant with purity, noble-mindedness and love? Am I not
the Almighty? And if it pleases Me to leave those wonderful beings
in Heaven in order to prefer the poor love of your heart – am I not
always the Lord of My love?

My child, let Me love you; I want your heart. Surely with time I will
change you, yet today I love you as you are, and I want you also to
love Me as you are. From the unplumbed depths of your misery I
want to see your love rise!

I love in you your weaknesses as well; I love the love of the poor and
wretched. I want a great cry to be heard unceasingly from the poor
banished:
