A Stiff Knee
The Sword-Bishop recounts: „A sister of an order wanted to receive
Holy Communion from me while standing. I asked her to kneel down
but she said that she was not able to kneel down, and a fellow sister
said that she had a stiff knee. Then I ordered her to kneel down. Finally
the sister obeyed and it went well. After standing up, however, the knee
was again as stiff as ever.“

I have been wrestling with heavy depressions for years and years.

and was breathing its last. Then in spirit I invoked the Sword-Bishop
Nikolaus that he might keep my cow alive until a vet was here. The

Spared by Hail

I have been a farmer for 37 years. In this period my farm was spared
by hail each time. This was also the case on 1 August 1980, when a
heavy hailstorm came down about 100 to 200 metres from my farm.
After giving up the lease on 18 March 1992, hail struck my former
