him, resists the HOLY SPIRIT, who breathes when He wills, how He
wills and where He wills!
What quite particularly grieves the Sword-Bishop are the letters against
him on the part of well-meaning priests and lay people, because they
thus delay his work of good fruits for GOD, etc. For this Sword-Bishop
has fruits to show indeed! The most obstinate sinners break down be-
fore him and confess their sins, weeping and sobbing. Many upon
many lukewarm Christians have been made into zealous Christians by
him, etc. Chiefly those who are plagued by the devil feel his great
power! With those who are possessed one sees how the devil fears him
and must obey him!
How this Sword-Bishop could work and produce fruits of piety if only he
were given the opportunity! Despite his proverbial modesty and
greatest humility, he affects many people through an unheard-of
radiance emanating from him. He is full of goodness, understanding
and love for the weak.
Give him the chance and you will be equally and even more enthralled
by him!
No one can judge the Sword-Bishop if he has not first heard or seen
him in person! It is not until, as said before, you have first open-
heartedly attended his Holy Sacrifice of the Mass that you will under-
stand all that he preaches and says!
