Sword-Bishop – His Personal Development
«Tomorrow You Will Be My
Priest of the Heart!»
GOD then awoke in him an ever greater longing for the priesthood.
These were terribly difficult times for him. Because this longing for it
actually came from GOD. And yet he could not explain how this might
be possible, since he was married. As time went on, however, GOD
made him aware that the bishop was also thinking along these lines,
since it had been suggested to him, too, by GOD. Yet this bishop did
not fare any better, either. So both knew about it, but neither dared to
talk about it. Nikolaus put his trust in GOD and reassured himself that
it would happen the way GOD willed it. And truly, suddenly came the
day when the bishop could no longer bear it, and began to speak with
and ask Nikolaus about it. The latter answered quite simply:
«I know.»
Somehow or other, this leaked out. It became known that the bishop
had the intention of ordaining Nikolaus priest. The devil, however, who
had more than a suspicion as to GOD’s purpose, tried everything
possible now to prevent it. The bishops of the Netherlands and Belgium
(of whom the Pope said that they have lost their Catholic identity ...) be-
came very active against it. Interpol was called in to check on Nikolaus’
life to see if there was anything that could be done to keep him out of
the public eye. Police, the courts and many others worked alongside
each other. Through false accusations, he stood before the police and
the court several times. But he was always acquitted and nothing was
ever found on him. Who knows how much he suffered because of it?
Except for his wife, surely only GOD alone knows! His enemies now
had tried everything and they could not find anything that could make a
consecration impossible. Even his marriage was no longer an obstacle,
for his wonderful wife declared in writing that she was prepared to set
him completely free for the LORD GOD. This document of his wife was
handed over to the bishop, which contained the words: «To no one
would I give up my husband, but to GOD I cannot say no!» The bishop
demanded that they both live in celibacy from now on.»
But now the enemy resorted to a nasty, underhanded trick: they knew
or had found out about Bishop Franck’s past before his conversion.
