Now What Does the Church Do?
With these words I am referring to the Church authorities. Confident of
victory in their human learnedness, they have become savourless salt
and chaff. Though it may seem that they are able to kindle new fire
continually inside the Church through large meetings and various
occasions and so on, it is, however, no more than paper fire which dies
out at once. For what they do comes from their learned heads (human
intellect), but not from loving hearts for GOD and neighbour!
They have gone blind. Let us just once, for example, look at the work
and efforts of their sect commissioners. How long have they even been
working on it and have been denouncing the sects in books, lectures,
etc. as an utter evil, without noticing, however, that this evil is nothing
other than the fruit of the false guidance of the Official Church. Their
guidance comes only from their scholarly knowledge, no longer from
burning love of the heart as the Main Commandment surely demands!
The HOLY SPIRIT did speak at the Second Vatican Council but unfortu-
nately the Church scholars have again immediately interpreted all with
their human intellect. Are there indeed no mystics amongst the Church
leaders any more? No one to love GOD to the point of foolishness???
Only such a one can give to GOD the HOLY SPIRIT room in his heart by
being prepared to clear out his acquired knowledge in favour of the
HOLY SPIRIT.
It is not the priests of reason but the priests of the heart that with ease
give preference to the HOLY SPIRIT rather than to their human wisdom!
GOD’s Instrument cannot come from this Church any more in her
present situation. Since this instrument should be high priest, it would
be impossible for him to act in the Spirit of CHRIST, too much would the
Church authorities as well as the college of bishops, etc. place restric-
tions on him. – Has it not already been like this in the past as well?
Consider the great Saints, stigmatized persons, etc. Were they not often
curtailed by the Church authorities in their freedom of action, to say the
least of it? This was also JESUS’ situation. He came unto His own,
but His own did not receive Him!
