John 6,48-58 „I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the
desert, yet they died. This is the bread which comes down from heaven: that if
any man eat of it, he may not die. I am the living bread which came down
from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the
bread that I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.“
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: „How can this man
give us his flesh to eat?“
Then Jesus said to them: „Amen, amen, I say unto you: except you
eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you shall
          not have life in you.
He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting
life: and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is
meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.
He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me: and I
in him. As the living Father has sent me and I live by the
          Father:sohethateatsme, thesamealsoshall livebyme.“

1 Cor. 10,21 You cannot drink the chalice of the Lord and the chalice of
devils: you cannot be partakers of the table of the Lord and of the table of
          devils!

1 Cor. 11,27-30 Therefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the
chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the
blood of the Lord. But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of this
bread and drink of the chalice. For he that eats and drinks unwor-
thily eats and drinks judgement to himself, not discerning the
          body of the Lord.
Therefore are there many infirm and weak among you: and many sleep.

Mark 14,22-24 And whilst they were eating, Jesus took bread; and bless-
ing, broke and gave it to them and said: „Take you. This is my body!“
And having taken the chalice, giving thanks, he gave it to them. And they all
drank of it. And he said to them: „This is my blood of the new testa-
ment, which shall be shed for many.“

JESUS says: „As often as you shall do these things, you shall do them
…” – Do what? Most certainly that which happened! And not
simply eat and drink! We must not forget: at the Last Supper the
SAVIOUR first had an ordinary meal with the Apostles. Only afterwards
